MaryAnn's Restoration Project

The Costs

I have put together a spread sheet to show the cost of restoring the basement and installing the berm to prevent future flooding. The engineer also recommended installing a generator to keep all sump pumps working during power failure. I live in a heavily wooded area. My electricity goes out often during high wind storms due to trees falling on the electric lines. You can view the actual proposals I have received from American Exteriors Inc. and Geofreeze Inc.

I have exhausted all of my resources to repair and replace what was damaged and lost. Recently, my circuit board on my new furnace had to be replaced due to rusting from the flood. Since the flood, I have purchased a new sump pump for the basement, sand bags, and two 100’ hose for pumps. My main concern and focus is to install the berm and keep the house from flooding again. Again, thank you for any help you can give.
